Claude Desktop
Connect the Fullstory MCP server to Claude Desktop to query your product data directly in conversations.
Prerequisites
- StoryAI features enabled for your Fullstory org (see the note below — this is a hard requirement; without it your client will connect but show zero tools).
- A Claude Team or Enterprise account
Fullstory MCP requires StoryAI features to be enabled for your org. If your org has opted out of StoryAI, your MCP client will appear to connect successfully (OAuth completes, the server shows as "connected") but no tools will be available.
An account Admin can verify or change this at Settings → GenAI Features (/settings/genai-features) in Fullstory. If you don't see that page, you don't have the role needed to change it — ask an Admin in your org.

Setup
On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner needs to add the connector first in Organization settings > Connectors before members can use it. Once connected, Fullstory tools are available in all conversations.
- Open Claude Desktop.
- Click Customize on the left sidebar.
- Click Connectors.
- Click the + icon and then Add custom connector.
- Enter
https://api.fullstory.com/mcp/fullstoryas the URL. - Click Add and follow the connection prompts.

Verify the connection
Start a conversation and ask:
What Fullstory tools are available?
Claude will list the available tools if the connection is working.
Using the tools
Once connected, you can ask questions about your product data in natural language. For example:
- "What are the biggest user frustrations on our product right now?"
- "How many users abandoned the checkout form last month? Break it down by device type."
- "Find me sessions where users hit a console error on the settings page."
